I could hear faint voices all around me but it was difficult to understand them. Slowly but surely they became clearer. "So how long will she be here?"
"She's suffered a lot of damage to her ribcage. Some of her bones have been fractured but those will heal. She should bedridden for a few weeks." I strained to open my eyes but the light made it difficult. "Oh, it seems she's waking up."
